Based in Treaty Six, our operations extend across Alberta and Western Canada, providing essential materials for construction and infrastructure development.

We deliver high-quality aggregates that meet industry standards for a wide range of projects — roads, bridges, water lines, sewer systems, and more. Our business model is a combination of active supply and aggregate materials to contractors, and working with other Indigenous communities and businesses to develop their own aggregate supply sources that they can use to build resource capacity.

This dedicated team's primary function is to provide Indigenous Relations services to non-Indigenous industry partners, helping them navigate the complexities and unique environments Indigenous communities face in engaging with the market. We work closely with industry leaders to foster relationships based on mutual respect and understanding, ensuring that Indigenous communities’ rights, values, and cultural needs are always prioritized.

Our team helps industry partners understand how to advocate for respectful, inclusive practices that align with the principles of reconciliation.

KNOWLEDGE & LIVED EXPERIENCE

What sets our team apart is the depth of knowledge and lived experience our members bring to the table. Each team member is not only highly skilled in their respective fields, but also deeply connected to Indigenous traditions and cultures. Our team includes individuals who are dedicated to preserving and sharing the richness of Indigenous culture and knowledge.

This diversity of experience makes our team particularly effective in connecting with both industry partners and Indigenous communities, facilitating authentic dialogue and ensuring cultural sensitivities are
respected at every stage of engagement.

INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIP BUILDING

We work closely with non-Indigenous industry partners to build strong, respectful relationships with Indigenous communities. Our team helps industry leaders understand the intricacies of Indigenous rights and practices, ensuring their projects are informed by a deep respect for cultural heritage and community priorities.

SUPPORTING THE TRC CALLS TO ACTION

We are committed to advancing the goals of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action, particularly Call to Action 57 and Call to Action 92. By offering education, building respectful relationships, and ensuring informed consent in economic development projects, we help industry partners align with the principles of reconciliation.

Call to Action 57: Professional Development and Training for Public Servants

Our team delivers comprehensive training on the history and legacy of Indigenous peoples, ensuring public servants are equipped with the knowledge and skills to engage effectively and respectfully with Indigenous communities. This includes training on Treaties, Aboriginal rights, Indigenous law, and intercultural competency.

Call to Action 92: Business & Reconciliation
We guide the corporate sector in adopting the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as a framework for reconciliation. This includes helping businesses commit to meaningful consultation, ensuring the free, prior, and informed consent of Indigenous Peoples, and advocating for equitable access to jobs, education, and sustainable benefits from economic development projects.
